Moscito (Major Oriented Strong Club)

Starting in version 3.0 Jack was able to play the complicated Moscito Strong Club system. In version 3.01 we started to align the Moscito system to conform strictly to Australian expert Paul Marston's latest specifications (where appropriate and relevant).

Currently, Jack's 3.00 version uses the same framework but differs in many details. In 3.01 we aligned almost all situations except for the 1C opening. On this page we will report on the progress made and will offer downloads specifically for the Moscito system.

As with many systems, personal preferences can be easily implemented in some situations. For example, the rather unusual methods Paul Marston uses after partners 1NT opening will not be everybody's choice. As this situation has little to do with Moscito we have not tried to align Jack's Moscito in detail.
You decide for yourself which conventions to play after 1NT. The Heeman system (see also the documentation on Jack 3 service page) might be a good choice as it contains features similar to Moscito but any conventional system will do just as well.

We will update this page with additional links and information. Constructive remarks and suggestions can be send to support@jackbridge.com
