Shanghai

The 2007 World Computer Bridge Championship will be held from October 4-9 at the World Bridge Federation's Bermuda Bowl, Venice Cup & Senior Bowl World Transnational Open Teams Championships in Shanghai, China.

Over the years major bridge programs from all over the world have participated in the annual World Computer Bridge Championships. After its debut in 2000 Jack dominated the championship winning the title in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2006. In 2005 Jack won the Round Robin but lost the final to WBridge5.
Long-time contestant Blue Chip Bridge will not be taking part in this year's event, but two new programs will challenge the bridge program establishment: RoboBridge and TUT Bridge. 2006 debutant Shark Bridge used last year's experience to improve the program and will make another appearance.

The programs competing are:

Jack- Hans Kuijf / Wim Heemskerk, The Netherlands
Micro Bridge- Tomio and Yumiko Uchida, Japan
WBridge5- Yves Costel, France
Q-Plus Bridge- Hans Leber, Germany
